Flavors from Florida, Inc. is currently developing a number of
"Healthy for You" beverages using a natural low glycemic
sweetener derived from sucrose and classified as a sugar
which improves the taste and texture of foods and
beverages. This sweetener/carbohydrate is found
naturally in sugar cane molasses and honey and it is
certified GRAS by the FDA. It is made by an enzymatic
non-GMO rearrangement and it's generic name is
isomaltulose. It is different from traditional sugars
because it is very low glycemic and insulinemic and it
uniquely supplies the body with energy over a longer
period of time and promotes metabolic fat oxidation and
weight control. Hydrolysis and absorption in the body is
complete, but much slower compared to sucrose and other
sugars which is helpful in suppressing one's
appetite. In addition to the other
positive attributes, it doesn't promote tooth decay.

Flavors From Florida Announces New Process and Packing Offering
Bartow, Florida
– Flavors From Florida has completed a ground-breaking agreement
with several ATYS affiliates to toll manufacturer in ATYS
production facilities. This will bring additional processing
capabilities to our customers.
Starting in May 2006, we will be
able to produce in two ATYS production locations in North
America and Mexico.
